Some patients may wish to receive their intravenous treatments in the comfort of their own homes.  When this treatment plan is appropriate and consistent with the needs and desires of the patient and family, our staff will assist you to allow that to happen. Some insurance companies have specific regulations concerning the administration of therapies in the home.  Our staff will investigate these requirements fully to determine if this is an option for you.  If so, our nursing staff will provide hands on training and teaching materials to ensure your success. A trained professional is available 24 hours a day in the event you encounter problems with your home infusion.

Admixture Services

All of the intravenous medications your physician prescribes for you are prepared by our admixture staff and administered by our nursing staff. If you are receiving your treatment at home, the admix department will prepare your medication for you on a weekly basis or teach you how to prepare it. The admix staff is always available to answer your questions.

Laboratory Services

Many of the decisions about the type and amount of intravenous therapy you receive will be based on the results of your laboratory work. Your physician may also order lab tests to determine the progress of your treatment.  Our clinic has a full service laboratory to complete these tests for you.

Pediatric Infectious Disease Services

One of our physicians is also board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases allowing us to provide care for patients of all ages.

Chest Clinic

A section of our clinic is specifically dedicated to the care of tuberculosis (TB) patients.  TB is a type of respiratory infection and our physicians have received special training to provide treatment for these patients.  We have a special room on the first floor of our clinic that allows us to see these patients safely without putting our staff or any of our other patients at risk for contracting TB.  Appointments to see patients in our chest clinic are coordinated with the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department.

Pierce County Laser Clinic

Tired of that Tattoo? Under the direction of Dr. Peter Marsh, we offer laser treatments for tattoo removal. The number of treatments will vary from patient to patient depending on the age, size, and type of tattoo, the color of the patient’s skin, and the depth of the design. Our clinic staff can answer any questions about this procedure and explain any side effects you may experience with the laser treatment.
