Some patients may wish to receive their intravenous treatments in the comfort of their own homes. When this treatment plan is appropriate and consistent with the needs and desires of the patient and family, our staff will assist you to allow that to happen. Some insurance companies have specific regulations concerning the administration of therapies in the home. Our staff will investigate these requirements fully to determine if this is an option for you. If so, our nursing staff will provide hands on training and teaching materials to ensure your success. A trained professional is available 24 hours a day in the event you encounter problems with your home infusion.

Chest ClinicA section of our clinic is specifically dedicated to the care of tuberculosis (TB) patients. TB is a type of respiratory infection and our physicians have received special training to provide treatment for these patients. We have a special room on the first floor of our clinic that allows us to see these patients safely without putting our staff or any of our other patients at risk for contracting TB. Appointments to see patients in our chest clinic are coordinated with the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department. |
