Thomas Boyd, MD
Dr. Tom Boyd is a Board certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He completed is formal training at the University of Texas (Dallas) and at the University of Iowa. He has worked in Washington and Oregon since 1985 and he currently resides in Yakima, Washington.
Dr. Boyd has been involved in clinical cancer research since the early 1980’s. His work in early Phase I trials helped to gain approval for several key cancer drugs in wide use today.
Dr. Boyd is married to his wife of 43 years, Dr. Rebecca Lang-Boyd. They have two grown children and three grandchildren.
In his spare time he likes hiking in the Cascades with his wife, running a small apple orchard in Yakima, traveling and cooking with his wife and wilderness sea kayaking on the coast of Vancouver Island.
