Ellen Hanisch, ARNP, FNP, AOCNP, attended the St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and then went on to the University of Illinois for her Masters degree in Public Health Nursing. She specializes in hematology, oncology, and palliative care.
At Northwest Medical Specialties, Ellen is a dedicated ARNP, seeing general oncology and hematology patients in Gig Harbor. Ellen found her passion in oncology and has truly enjoyed the art of cancer treatment. She excels at establishing relationships with her patients as they move through their cancer journey, helping them through the difficult times, celebrating the successes and moving onto survivorship.
Ellen enjoys working with new advanced practice providers through their onboarding process and fostering a supportive environment for their growth as oncology nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
