Dear Patients and Friends,
The time has come to share with you that I will be retiring from Northwest Medical Specialties on June 1, 2026. It has been the privilege of a lifetime to care for you and your families for the past 22 years.
Rest assured, you will be in excellent hands. My esteemed partners will continue to care for you, supported by our outstanding teams. Their dedication to delivering the highest quality care is unwavering, and I am confident they will carry forward our shared commitment to compassionate service.
Since joining Northwest Medical Specialties in 2004, cancer treatment and outcomes have evolved at a rapid pace. Some cancer diagnoses that were hopeless are curable now. If you participate in clinical research, your dedication directly benefits the patients that follow you. I want to personally thank each of you for your vulnerability and trust in our clinical research program.
On a more personal level, you may not realize how much you have taught and blessed me. You have shown me how to communicate more clearly, demanded that I dig deeper to find the root of your concerns, and taught me how to listen with care for the unspoken messages — sometimes masked behind anger and fear. Even more important, your relationships with family, friends, and faith have unveiled the power of love and compassion overshadowing what we can do with medicine. I will be forever grateful to you, thank you.
Warmest Regards,
Andrea Veatch
