Dr. Li Zhang led NWMS’ first Skin Cancer Tumor Board, on 1/15/2026. Many community providers attended to include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and practice leadership from surrounding private practice and hospital systems. The tumor board attendees discussed several patient cases, how to best continue care, and monitor clinical outcomes. Slides and pictures were shared that allowed the providers to give their clinical expertise and recommendations. The tumor board meetings will be held each month, and providers and experts will be able to offer support and guidance to best support patients within the community.
