Northwest Medical Specialties was honored to be part of the Blood Cancer Awareness Workshop, hosted by The Journey Fund and South Sound Care Foundation.
This workshop was a free educational event open to anyone in the community affected by cancer. Northwest Medical Specialties very own Dr. Sibel Blau and Dr. Frank Senecal were featured speakers, along with Tony Blau, MD. Attendees were educated on CLL/SLL, CML, and Multiple Myeloma; treatment options, side-effects and the latest research. In addition, participants had the opportunity to learn about the knowledge sharing platform, All4Cure.

“My daughter, husband, and I really enjoyed last night’s event. The speakers did an an excellent job of sharing key points without getting too technical for non-clinical people. The venue was not a bad drive from South Hill near Graham (my daughter came down from Seattle), and it was nicely decorated. The food was an added bonus. I know it takes a lot of work to host something of this magnitude, and your efforts are definitely appreciated. This was my first workshop, and i really hope that there will be others that i can attend. Thanks very much!”
