Your travel plans should first include a visit to us! Call us at (253) 428-8754

Going for a romantic week in a tropical paradise? Don’t spend it in the hotel combating an illness. Yellow fever, cholera or creeping eruption could ruin your holiday, but don’t worry because you have the team at Travelers Health Service to help you.

We take the time to sit down with each client, one-on-one, to discuss their specific travel destination and what is needed to help ensure a safe trip. Staff are available for pre and post travel questions, and we also are able to bill insurance for medical costs resulting from your visit.

What should I do?

If you are planning a trip abroad in the near future, contact your doctor, or call Travelers Health Service at (253) 428-8754. If possible, please allow 6-8 weeks to allow for possible completion of required immunizations.

Pre-Travel Care

You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire detailing your medical history and itinerary. The travel nurse will go over the information with you and setup an individual program of vaccines and medications. Information relevant to your itinerary will be provided.

Post-Travel Care

Despite the most careful planning, travelers sometimes become ill while abroad. Our physicians and laboratory staff members are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by pager.
