Patient Advocacy Event: NWMS CPAN Re-launch

Join us on March 4, 2026 for an evening of patient advocacy and
engagement. The Community Oncology Patient Advocacy Network
(CPAN) will be back to relaunch our NWMS CPAN chapter.

The CPAN Chapter of Northwest Medical Specialties teamed up with
the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) Patient Advocacy Network
(CPAN) in 2017 to educate cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and
all members of the community oncology team about the importance of
preserving access to local, affordable, cutting edge and the high
quality care that independent community oncology practices provide.

During this advocacy event, you will learn about national policy issues
and how they impact local cancer care. You will also hear about
exciting opportunities to join CPAN on Capitol Hill and other local and
national advocacy opportunities.

If you are a patient, cancer survivor, family member/caregiver, clinician,
employee, or a member of the community, we welcome you to join us
for an informative event.

Guest speakers include:

  • Rose Gerber, MS, Director of Patient Advocacy & Education Community Oncology Alliance
  • Mohammed Kanaan, MD, Medical Oncologist
  • Abra Kelson, LICSW, Director of Quality and Value Based Care
  • Sifa Herady Bandale, MSW, LSWAIC, Social Worker, CPAN Chapter Advocacy Co-Leader
