NWMS was honored to participate in the 2026 Relay For Life of Tacoma-Puget Sound, an inspiring community event that brings people together to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s mission. Relay For Life is more than a walk; it is a volunteer-powered movement dedicated to funding cancer research, patient support, education, prevention, and advocacy efforts that help improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
This year’s event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose and compassion. Thanks to the dedication of teams, participants, volunteers, and supporters, the Tacoma-Puget Sound Relay community has already raised more than $263,000 toward its $300,000 goal, and donations are still being accepted. Every step taken and every contribution made helped demonstrate the strength and generosity that define our community.
